Description
This is a copy of the Starblazer picture comic number 234 published in 1989 by D. C. Thomson & Co. Ltd. The title of this edition is “Darkworld”.
"Driven underground during the nuclear wars, man had survived five hundred years in an environment devoid of sunlight, rain, wind, flowers and animals. Up above, amongst the radiation-lashed ruins of civilisation, nothing stirred, so the monitors reported. Earth’s surface was a sterile, barren, uninhabitable waste. Or was it?
Though generally in good condition, there are some ‘grease’ type marks which go from the back cover to page 53. These marks are also visible on the edges of the back cover and through to page 59. There is a questionnaire on the inside cover of this comic book which has been completed in blue pen by a previous owner.
