This is a TY Beanie plush toy from the TY Original Beanie Babies range.
This one is TY Ariel, the bear. There is no birthday given for this bear but, in place is says “In memory: 1981-1988”.
A drawing done by Ariel Glaser at age 5 inspired the logo on this Beanie. Ariel passed away on August 12, 1988 at age 7 of complications from AIDS.
The toy is complete with his tags. Most of our stock of TY Beanie toys came from a shop closure.
